Background

Rugged Moon is a start-up publishing company whose focus is on creating educational resources under the topics of health, community and the environment. Our target audience is children 0 - 16 years old. Rugged Moon is an Australian company run by three Melbourne-based mothers.

Vision

Rugged Moon will provide children with a wide variety of quality resources that enable them to make a positive difference to their health, their community and the health of the planet.

Mission

Rugged Moon will achieve this vision by being:

• A provider of specialist educational resources that engage children in the topics of health, community and the environment.
• By encouraging children to embark on their own voyage of discovery so that they can make individual and informed choices.
• By building strategic alliances with specialist organisations and professionals.
• By creating quality products that are made locally from environmentally sound resources.
